In July 2012, Mr. Xiao Changtai, General Manager of MinGong Machinery (MGMA), traveled to Namibia, a country in southwestern Africa, to conduct on-site inspections at local mines and visit long-standing customers who had previously purchased MinGong forklift loaders in bulk. The purpose of this trip was to gain a deeper understanding of the actual mining and equipment usage conditions in Namibia’s stone mines and to accumulate experience for better serving the African market.
During his stay in Namibia, General Manager Xiao visited mining sites, inspected local mining conditions and operational processes, and had detailed conversations with customers to understand the long-term performance of MinGong forklift loaders and their actual needs. Namibia is rich in mineral resources and is one of Africa’s important stone exporting countries, with strong local demand for efficient, stable, and durable mining machinery. MinGong forklift loaders, with their excellent product performance and good stability, have earned wide recognition and trust from customers in the Namibian market.
On July 11, 2012, General Manager Xiao Changtai had a friendly meeting with Mr. Tjekero Tweya, then Deputy Minister of Industrialisation and Trade of Namibia and currently Chairman of the Standing Committee on Natural Resources of the Namibian Parliament. They posed for a group photo. General Manager Xiao introduced in detail the product advantages of MinGong Machinery (MGMA) in stone forklift loaders, wheel loaders, and construction machinery, and expressed confidence in Namibia’s rapidly developing mining and construction markets. The two sides exchanged views on the application prospects of mining machinery in the Namibian market and China‑Namibia industrial cooperation. Deputy Minister Tweya affirmed MinGong’s professional products and forward‑looking layout, and expressed the hope for substantial cooperation progress in the mining equipment field between both sides in the future.
This trip to Namibia was an important step for MinGong Machinery (MGMA) to actively expand overseas markets and deepen customer relationships in Africa. The company will continue to cultivate the African market, guided by customer needs, and continuously improve product quality and service levels to provide more reliable and efficient equipment solutions to stone mining customers worldwide.
