Chain Saw Development – One-Pass Forming
The underground chain saw is used as the core equipment for passage development and face cutting. It can cut regular horizontal and vertical slots on vertical rock walls, producing large cross-sectional cuts (max. depth 3m, length 6.5m, height 5.5m) in one pass without pre-drilling or wire splicing, offering high efficiency and precision. Passage development and bench formation are completed in one operation, laying the foundation for subsequent large-scale extraction.
Wire Saw Blind Cutting – Precise Separation
The underground wire saw, together with dedicated guide wheels, performs “blind cutting” to separate the pre-cut block from the back of the ore body. The flexible wire cutting creates low vibration and minimal damage to the stone’s internal structure, ensuring block integrity. The underground horizontal drill works together with the wire saw: the horizontal drill pre-drills guide holes or splitting holes on the back of the block to reduce rock stress and assist positioning, creating conditions for threading and fast cutting with the wire saw. The synergy of the two further improves separation accuracy and operational efficiency, reduces idle time and auxiliary work, and achieves a safe, highly efficient block separation process for underground mining.
Safe Fork Handling – MinGong Expertise
MinGong forklift loaders are used for removing, transferring and stacking blocks inside the underground chamber. They are completely redesigned and optimized according to the specifications of the underground chain saw/wire saw, providing ample lifting height to meet removal needs. The compact machine size allows operation in narrow spaces with high maneuverability. The low-center-of-gravity design ensures stability under heavy loads, and the full hydraulic braking system guarantees safety on inclined surfaces inside the chamber, greatly improving production efficiency while reducing chamber space requirements.
Auxiliary Mucking – Collaborative Efficiency
Small excavators or wheel loaders are used together with the forklift loaders to clear and haul crushed stone and debris inside the chamber, keeping the working face clean and unobstructed. Haul trucks handle underground-to-surface transport and off-site logistics, ensuring smooth coordination among all steps.
