Granite Open-Pit Mining Solution

Solution Features

Precision cutting, high recovery – Double-blade quarry saws achieve precise block separation with narrow kerf and low vibration, significantly reducing internal cracking. Block recovery rate can exceed 85%.

Efficient cutting, double-blade speed – Double-blade quarry saws improve cutting efficiency by more than 30% compared to single‑blade saws. Sawing speed is high (30 m/s in hard granite, 55 m/s in marble), with a daily cutting volume of 70–110 m³. The cut surface is smooth and clean, and block recovery exceeds 90%. Compared to traditional blasting, mining cost per cubic meter is reduced by 50–80 RMB, with no fly rock, no vibration, and safe, environmentally friendly operation.

Assisted splitting, avoiding violent breakage – Drilling equipment is used for pre-drilling or assisted splitting before block separation, eliminating blasting shock and preserving the natural texture and integrity of granite.

Efficient loading and handling – MinGong expertise – MinGong forklift loaders handle block loading, transfer and stacking, speeding up block removal to free the working face. The stable fork-and-carry method greatly improves transfer efficiency and reduces block damage compared to conventional excavator handling. Excavators are used for waste removal, overburden stripping and shaping, while haul trucks complete on‑site and off‑site transport. The entire equipment combination has clear division of labor and high operating efficiency.
